Families enroll their children by the week, with each week featuring a big weekly event, multiple field trips, team-building activities, and ample time for creative free play with friends. The children are separated into six groups, each led by experienced counseling teams, and well below the NAEYC-required 15:1 child-staff ratio. We reserve Reston Association swimming pools for private use three days a week, in addition to offering numerous water-themed field trips and activities. Participating children are required to wear RCC summer camp shirts and bring tennis shoes each day.

FUN ENVIRONMENT

Our summer camp is a fast-paced, fun environment. We take extreme pride in keeping the kids busy and entertained, although it’s the budding friendships and camaraderie among children that truly makes camp so special each year. Our experienced staff is energized by the influx of college students who join us for our summer season. Meanwhile, children bond with old friends, and aspire to graduate to the oldest groups, ultimately culminating in the coveted Group 5 and 6 annual sleepover. Other RCC summer classics include story book performance week, the official summer camp dance party, rock concert day, and of course, our annual indoor fort week!
